Its history comes from the Massai tribe. In the 1960s, Marelani Hills, a village located in Tanzania was hit by a violent tornado. Frightened, the Massai nomads left their country. When they returned to their home, they found an astounding amount of brilliant blues stones.
A few years later, Tiffany & Co renamed the Zoizoite stone found in Tanzania: Tanzanite, paying tribute to its unique place of extraction. In 2002, the American Gem Trade Association annouced that Tanzanite joined Turquoise for the December gemstones.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”3021″ img_size=”600 × 600″ onclick=”custom_link” css_animation=”zoomIn” link=”https://mmgems.com/tanzanite/”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”3024″ img_size=”600 × 600″ onclick=”custom_link” css_animation=”zoomIn” link=”https://mmgems.com/emerald/”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_custom_heading text=”What is Emerald ?” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:right” google_fonts=”font_family:Aclonica%3Aregular|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal” css_animation=”bounceInRight”][vc_column_text]Emerald is a precious gemstone and a variety of the mineral beryl colored green by trace amounts of chromium and sometimes vanadium. Beryl has a hardness of 7.5–8 on the Mohs scale. Emeralds have been treasured as adornments in the form of jewelry for centuries.
Emerald crystals are hexagonal in nature. Large Emerald deposits are currently mined in Colombia, Brazil, and Zambia. Emeralds are mined throughout the world (Pakistan, Afghanistan, Russia, Australia, United States) but these are the three major sources. The Zambian and Brazilian Emeralds may be colored due to the presence of vanadium, whereas Colombian Emeralds usually achieve their coloration from the presence of chromium.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row_content_no_spaces”][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”3427″ img_size=”1500×1000″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”3428″ img_size=”1500×1000″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”3429″ img_size=”1500×1000″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1473165921890{margin-top: 45px !important;}” el_class=”vc-col-padding-less”][vc_column width=”1/3″][m_icon_block block_icon_color=”#444444″ text_color=”#777777″ block_title=”M&M Gems” block_desc=”M&M Gems, manufacturer of coloured gemstones was founded in 1991 in the city of Jaipur (India) – the largest gemstone trading centre.” style=”style1″ text_align=”text-center” block_icon=”icon-basic-display” css=”.vc_custom_1600848445607{border-right-width: 1px !important;border-right-color: #dddddd !important;border-right-style: solid !important;}”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][m_icon_block block_icon_color=”#5e5150″ text_color=”#777777″ block_title=”Specialist” block_desc=”At M&M Gems process of finely cut Emeralds and Tanzanites (ranging from 0.03 ct to 3 ct) has generated the specialty of ourselves.” style=”style1″ text_align=”text-center” block_icon=”icon-ecommerce-wallet” css=”.vc_custom_1600848465249{border-right-width: 1px !important;border-right-color: #dddddd !important;border-right-style: solid !important;}”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][m_icon_block block_icon_color=”#5e5150″ text_color=”#777777″ block_title=”Quality” block_desc=”Our quality remains unmatched as tremendous care is taken not only in the sourcing but also in the manufacturing.” style=”style1″ text_align=”text-center” show_read_more_btn=”yes” read_more_text=”View Details” css_animation=”fadeInUp” animation_delay=”0.4″ block_icon=”icon-arrows-switch-horizontal”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
